Terms of service

Last updated: October 22, 2026

These terms apply when you use OnRise: the app at start.onrise.app, our website onrise.app and the link pages made with OnRise. Please read them; by using OnRise you agree to them. How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy policy.

  • Your posts, images and business details stay yours. You give us permission to use them only to run OnRise for you.
  • You decide what gets published. On autopilot, OnRise publishes the posts it has planned for you, so check your settings.
  • Follow the law and LinkedIn's and Instagram's rules. We can pause accounts that don't.
  • The free plan is free. Paid plans renew until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time.

About these terms

OnRise is provided by Silver Software Ltd, Registered in England and Wales, company no. 12551103, Office 403, Screenworks 22 Highbury Grove, London, United Kingdom, N5 2ER (“OnRise”, “we”, “us”). These terms are an agreement between you and us.

If you use OnRise for a business or another organisation, you accept these terms on its behalf and confirm that you're allowed to do so. In that case, “you” also means that organisation.

Questions about these terms: [email protected].

What OnRise does

OnRise helps businesses and professionals with LinkedIn and Instagram. It suggests and writes posts (with built-in templates and AI), plans and publishes them on the accounts you connect, collects comments and suggests replies, shows statistics, and gives you a public link page with buttons such as booking, WhatsApp or directions.

You can try OnRise without an account. We ask for your e-mail address before anything is published.

We keep improving OnRise, so features may change. Some features may be marked as new or in testing and may not always work as expected.

Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that's higher, and able to enter into a contract.
  • Give us an e-mail address that is yours and that you can read. We sign you in with one-time codes sent to it, so keep access to your e-mail secure. Anyone who can read your e-mail can sign in to your account.
  • You're responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us at [email protected] straight away if you think someone else is using it.
  • If you try OnRise without an account and don't come back for 30 days, we pause your trial and remove its connections to LinkedIn and Instagram.

LinkedIn and Instagram

When you connect a LinkedIn profile or page or an Instagram professional account, you authorise OnRise to act on that account on your behalf, within the permissions you grant: to publish posts, read and hide comments, reply to them and read statistics.

  • Only connect accounts and pages that you own or are authorised to manage.
  • You must follow LinkedIn's and Instagram's own terms and rules, for example the LinkedIn User Agreement, Instagram's Terms of Use and its Community Guidelines.
  • OnRise is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by LinkedIn or Meta. LinkedIn and Instagram are their trademarks.
  • LinkedIn and Meta can change or limit what OnRise may do, or remove its access. We're not responsible for their decisions, such as restricting your account or removing a post.

You can disconnect an account in OnRise's settings at any time.

Your content and AI-written posts

Your content stays yours. “Your content” means the posts, captions, images, business details, link page and replies you create or upload in OnRise. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, adapt (for example resize an image or fit a caption to a platform) and publish your content, only as needed to run OnRise for you and as you instruct. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep by law or that remain for a short time in backups.

You need the rights to what you publish. You confirm that you own your content or have permission to use it (including photos, logos, music and the names or faces of other people), and that it doesn't break the law or anyone's rights.

Check AI-written text. OnRise drafts posts and replies with templates and AI. These drafts can be inaccurate, out of date, unsuitable for your audience or similar to texts others receive. You're responsible for checking them before they're published, especially prices, offers, opening hours, health, legal or financial claims. We don't claim ownership of the drafts written for you, and you may use them.

Autopilot publishes for you. If you switch on autopilot or automatic thank-you replies, OnRise publishes the posts and replies it has prepared at the times it chooses, without asking you each time. You remain responsible for them. You can switch these features off at any time in OnRise.

Acceptable use

Don't use OnRise, its link pages or its AI to:

  • break the law, or infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
  • publish content that is false or misleading, defamatory, hateful, harassing, violent, sexually explicit, or that exploits or endangers children;
  • send spam, fake engagement or deceptive advertising, or pretend to be someone else;
  • promote illegal goods or services, gambling, weapons or anything LinkedIn's or Instagram's rules don't allow;
  • point link page buttons to phishing, malware or scam websites;
  • copy, resell or reverse-engineer OnRise, get around its limits, overload it, or access it with bots or scrapers;
  • try to access other people's accounts or data.

We may remove content, take a link page offline or pause an account that breaks these rules, as described below.

Link pages

A published link page is public: anyone with the address can see it, and search engines may show it. Only put information on it that you want to be public. Buttons can lead to other services, such as booking tools, WhatsApp or maps, whose own terms apply.

We count clicks on link pages and tracked links to show you statistics, as described in our Privacy policy. We may change a page address that impersonates someone else or misleads visitors.

Plans, limits and payments

Free plan. OnRise can be used for free within the limits of the free plan, such as a number of posts and AI drafts per month. The current plans and limits are shown in the app and under Pricing. We may change the free plan's limits; we'll tell you in the app before a reduction takes effect.

Paid plans. Paid plans are sold through our payment provider, Stripe. These terms apply to them:

  • The price is the one shown when you buy. Prices on our website exclude VAT where it applies; VAT and similar taxes are added at checkout.
  • Payment is taken in advance for each month or year by our payment provider. We don't see or store your full card details.
  • Your plan renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; the plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and isn't renewed after that.
  • Apart from the consumer rights below and what the law requires, payments aren't refunded for unused time or partial periods.
  • We may change prices for future periods. We'll tell you at least 30 days in advance, and you can cancel before the new price applies.
  • If you move to a smaller plan, nothing is deleted, but the smaller plan's limits apply.
  • If a payment fails and isn't settled after we remind you, we may move your account to the free plan or pause it.

If you're a consumer

If you use OnRise as a consumer (not for your business, trade or profession) and live in the UK or the European Union, you have a right to cancel a paid plan within 14 days of buying it, without giving a reason. If you ask us to start the paid service during those 14 days and then cancel, we may charge you for the part you've already used. To cancel, write to [email protected].

Nothing in these terms takes away your rights as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.

Pausing and ending

You can stop using OnRise at any time. You can delete your account in OnRise's settings and ask us to erase your data, as explained in our Privacy policy.

We may pause or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if your use puts OnRise, other users or the public at risk, if the law or LinkedIn's or Meta's rules require it, or if a payment remains unpaid. Unless the law or safety prevents it, we'll tell you why and, where possible, give you a chance to fix the problem first. While an account is paused, you can still sign in and see your content, but nothing is published or planned.

We may also stop offering OnRise altogether. If we do, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice, refund any payment for the period after the service ends, and let you download your content where we can.

Availability and changes

We work to keep OnRise running reliably, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. Maintenance, problems at our providers, or LinkedIn or Instagram being unavailable can delay or prevent a post or reply. If a post can't be published, OnRise shows it in the app so you can try again.

We may change, add or remove features. If a change takes away something important that you pay for, we'll tell you in advance and you can cancel.

Our rights

OnRise's software, design, templates, texts and brand belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use OnRise for its intended purpose while these terms apply. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you.

No guaranteed results

We can't promise that using OnRise will bring a particular number of followers, views, customers or bookings. Statistics come from LinkedIn and Instagram, and may be delayed, incomplete or different from what those platforms show elsewhere.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that the law doesn't allow us to limit or exclude.

If you use OnRise for business, we're not liable for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill or data, for any indirect or consequential loss, or for actions LinkedIn or Meta take against your accounts. Our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in those 12 months and £100.

If you're a consumer, we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or of our failing to use reasonable care and skill. We're not responsible for loss or damage that isn't foreseeable.

Claims caused by your content

If you use OnRise for business and someone makes a claim against us because of your content or your breach of these terms, you'll cover our reasonable costs and losses arising from that claim. We'll tell you about the claim promptly and let you take part in handling it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when OnRise, the law or our business changes; the date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters to you, we'll tell you in the app or by e-mail at least 30 days before it takes effect, unless it has to apply sooner for legal or security reasons. If you don't agree, you can stop using OnRise and delete your account before the change applies.

Law and disputes

If something goes wrong, please contact us first at [email protected]; most problems can be solved quickly.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you're a consumer living elsewhere in the UK or in the European Union, you can also bring proceedings in the courts where you live, and you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country.

Other terms

  • These terms, together with our Privacy policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about OnRise.
  • If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest stays in effect.
  • If we don't enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
  • You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent. We may transfer ours to a company that takes over OnRise; we'll tell you, and your rights stay the same.
  • No one other than you and us has any right to enforce these terms.
